“The extreme cold may have an adverse effect on your pet’s health, so pet parents must take the necessary precautions for their pets when bringing them outside.

It is especially important during extreme weather circumstances to ensure that your pet is microchipped, which makes it easier to locate them. In the event they become ill as a result of being exposed to the elements, please bring them to a veterinarian immediately.”

What Readers Says

If you are interested in the medical aspect of pet ownership, this book will give you info on the common accidents and emergencies that pets encounter so you can be proactive on prevention and action.
The information provided is easy to understand and implement. Dr. Vine has a knack for breaking down complex medical concepts into digestible pieces of wisdom, so that readers can deal with emergency situations with their pets.
I particularly appreciated the preventive measures so I can guard my pets from harm. Of course, my dogs, Edna and Sam are very important to me, so I want to safeguard them as much as possible.

Dr. Vine’s writing style is engaging and relatable, and I really love the anecdotes and real-life examples he gave. His passion for veterinary medicine shines through, inspiring readers to become more knowledgeable about their pets’ health. The practical tips on how to minimize veterinary expenses without compromising on quality care is a very welcome addition, particularly in today’s economic climate.
I highly recommend this book as a must-read for anyone who shares their life with a furry friend.
